Lulu is a happy, six-year-old pink rhinoceros who has a red balloon tied to her horn that allows her to fly and thus, reach high places. When Kai-lan needs her help, Kai-lan sings a song that calls for Lulu. She does not appear as much as the other characters. She doesn't just fly, she can also walk. People think she just speaks Chinese but also speaks English.
